SALTERIO MUSIC 3 - Florido Ubaldi, Sonata a.

€14.90

It was an incredible fortune to discover twelve new Sonatas by Florido Ubaldi during my doctoral research. The most famous salterio virtuoso of the eighteenth century used the salterio not just as a melodic instrument but also as a counterpoint instrument. This set the performer to completely new challenges when playing these sonatas, as salterio players are not used to playing both melody and bass at the same time. This sonata is an adventure for advanced players of pizzicato and battuto; however, with a few changes, an easier version can be arranged easily for those who don’t want to miss this beautiful piece of music.
